Professional Experiences

With almost two decades of experience advising financial institutions, health-care providers, businesses and individuals, Matt brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to representing clients on complex business, real estate, and litigation matters with the goal of providing practical and creative solutions. Matt's master's degree in counseling psychology and work with health-care providers gives him a greater understanding of the challenges that they face with their practice.

Matt also handles a wide range of bankruptcy matters, representing creditors during the bankruptcy process. Both businesses and individuals rely on Matt to protect their rights throughout the bankruptcy process by filing claims, enforcing loans and other contracts, and recovering collateral.

Matt's practice also encompasses representing clients on appeals pending before the Missouri Court of Appeals for the Western District.

When not at the office or spending time with his family, Matt enjoys teaching various legal courses at Johnson County Community College as an Adjunct Assistant Professor.
