PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE

Anne joined the Forbes Law Group in the summer of 2023, bringing her many years of legal experience in the areas of employment and commercial litigation. Anne assists the firm's wide variety of healthcare clients with dispute resolution, employment counseling, and other litigation matters.

Before joining the Forbes Law Group, Anne served for nine years as a Career Law Clerk to the Honorable Daniel D. Crabtree in the United States District Court for the District of Kansas. Also, for two years following her law school graduation, Anne served as a Term Law Clerk to the Honorable Julie A. Robinson in the United States District Court for the District of Kansas. And, during law school, Anne served as a judicial intern to the Honorable John W. Lungstrum in the United States District Court for the District of Kansas.

Between her federal judicial clerkships, Anne spent several years practicing at a large, full-service law firm in Kansas City, where she represented clients in employment and commercial litigation matters filed in federal or state court or before administrative agencies. She also assisted clients with employment counseling matters including human resources practices, workplace investigations, and employment policy training.

In 2023, the Kansas Supreme Court appointed Anne to serve on the Board of Law Examiners, a ten-member Board of Kansas lawyers and judges who oversee all matters relating to applications for admission, character and fitness, testing accommodations, temporary permits to practice, and legal intern permits for practicing law in Kansas.
